Navigating Management Challenges in Difficult Times
This webinar on nonprofit collaboration is led by David La Piana, a managing partner at La Piana Consulting. La Piana has spent over 20 years working with nonprofits to explore how they can effectively collaborate with others, including through mergers. During this session, he explores questions such as:
What types of partnership models exist among organizations in the social sector?
As organizations move forward, how might they decide if, or when a partnership, collaboration, or merger with another organization might make sense?
How should organizations evaluate and approach mergers specifically?

David La Piana is the founder of La Piana Consulting, a strategy consulting firm for nonprofits and foundations. In addition to consulting with nonprofits for over 20 years, La Piana is the author of a number of books, including “The Nonprofit Strategy Revolution,” “The Nonprofit Mergers Workbooks I and II,” “Play to Win,” and “The Nonprofit Business Plan.” Prior to La Piana consulting, La Piana held a variety of leadership roles in the social sector, including as the CEO of a children’s mental-health nonprofit.
