Collaborations and Mergers in the Social Sector

Led by David La Piana of La Piana Consulting, this webinar explores how nonprofits can effectively collaborate with others in the sector, including through mergers.

This webinar on nonprofit collaboration is led by David La Piana, a managing partner at La Piana Consulting. La Piana has spent over 20 years working with nonprofits to explore how they can effectively collaborate with others, including through mergers. During this session, he explores questions such as:

  • What types of partnership models exist among organizations in the social sector?

  • As organizations move forward, how might they decide if, or when a partnership, collaboration, or merger with another organization might make sense?

  • How should organizations evaluate and approach mergers specifically?
