During this session, Kornfield shares his perspectives on how we can steady the heart during uncertain times—finding courage, resilience, and self-compassion, even when it is difficult.

Jack Kornfield is an author, psychologist, activist, and Buddhist practitioner. After joining the Peace Corps in 1967, and working with tropical-medicine teams in the Mekong River valley, Kornfield trained as a Buddhist monk in the monasteries of Thailand, India, and Burma. He went on to co-found the Insight Meditation Society and Spirit Rock Meditation Center, and he has taught mindfulness and meditation at centers and universities around the world. He is the author of several books, which have sold over a million copies and have been translated into 20 languages.
