About the Speaker

Leah Weiss is a researcher, speaker, professor, consultant, and author. She teaches courses on compassionate leadership at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. She is a founding faculty member of Stanford’s Compassion Cultivation Program (conceived by the Dalai Lama). In 2019, Weiss co-founded Skylyte, a company that specializes in using the latest neuroscience and behavior-change science to empower leaders and teams to build resilience and prevent burnout. She is the author of “How We Work: Live Your Purpose, Reclaim Your Sanity, and Embrace the Daily Grind,” which was endorsed by the Dalai Lama, and has been translated into seven languages. Her work has been covered by news outlets around the world, including the BBC, The New York Times, TED, the Financial Times, Harvard Business Review, and others.
