Scaling Impact
This webinar on measuring impact is led by Matt Forti of One Acre Fund. One Acre Fund began by serving 38 farmers in Kenya and, within 15 years, grew to serve over 1 million farmers across multiple countries.
In this session, Forti shares his perspectives on how mission-driven organizations should start their measurement journeys (including what data to collect and how to make it usable to all stakeholders); how to use data for internal decision making; and how to approach external evaluation (when and why to do it).
Matt Forti is the managing director of One Acre Fund USA. Forti has played a pivotal role in One Acre Fund since its inception, both serving as its inaugural board chair, and being a part of the organization as it grew from serving 38 farmers in Kenya, to 1 million farmers across multiple countries. In his current role, Forti oversees several aspects of One Acre’s work, including the development and deployment of metrics and dashboards across the organization. Prior to One Acre Fund, Forti co-led the performance-measurement practice at The Bridgespan Group, a nonprofit consulting firm.
