More than 57 million women experience symptoms of menopause every day. And while 84% suffer disruptions to their lives like hot flashes, brain fog, and insomnia, almost half have never discussed them with a health-care provider. Because of institutional bias, practitioners lack training in this area, and two-thirds of those who seek care don’t get the advice or treatment they need.

Joanna Strober is drawing on her experience as one of the first women working in venture capital in Silicon Valley to take on this problem. With Midi Health, a virtual care clinic designed for women over 40, she’s providing exceptional care for those experiencing perimenopause and menopause. Midi specialists work with each patient to create a personalized treatment plan, offering a range of interventions, from lifestyle coaching to prescription medications—all covered by insurance. The goal: keeping women healthy, in midlife and beyond.
