Dr. Ali Agha

Dr. Ali Agha is the Founder and CEO of FieldAI, where he pioneers the use of artificial intelligence to unlock the potential of robots operating autonomously in complex, real-world environments. Ali has nearly two decades of experience leading cutting-edge autonomy projects. Prior to founding FieldAI, he was a Principal Investigator at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), where he led NASA’s team participating in DARPA Subterranean Challenge, DARPA RACER (self-driving off-road cars), NASA’s Autonomous Mars Cave Exploration, and Coordinated Autonomy for Prototype Mars Helicopter-Rover. He led a team from multiple international institutions that won the Urban phase of the 2020 DARPA Challenge, which focused on exploring unknown complex urban environments.
