Online Harassment Protection & Response

Led by Ela Stapley of the IWMF, this webinar centers on how to protect against, and respond to, online harassment.

In this webinar, we are joined by Ela Stapley of the International Women's Media Foundation (IWMF) in a conversation centered on how organizations can protect against, and respond to, online harassment.

The IWMF supports women journalists and photographers around the world by providing safety training, byline opportunities, and tailored emergency support to fellows and grantees. Though focused on journalists, IWMF has gained significant insight into how all organizations can create policies and procedures around online abuse to ensure individuals are able to do their work with a greater degree of security.

Ela leads IWMF’s digital safety work with a focus on protecting against online abuse through training and policy development.

During this webinar, Ela shares:

  • How to build awareness around online abuse in your organization

  • Ways to support staff, including easy to implement policies

  • Practical steps for protecting personal data online

  • How to support staff wellbeing around issues related to online abuse
