"Music is the ultimate connector of people, and it knows no boundaries."

Earlier this year, a group of artists gathered in Toronto, Canada, in the spirit of community, creativity, and collaboration. Their primary commonality, other than music? All hail from the six countries named on the United States' proposed travel ban.

Pairing up with contemporary American musicians, the artists from Iran, Syria, Somalia, Yemen, Sudan, and Libya produced six pieces of stunning new music. The series, "I'm With the Banned," is produced by Spotify in partnership with Anonymous Content.

Check out the short films and be on the lookout for the full-length documentary this fall.
